Hi, Welcome to my website! i'm Zara
I am a South African–Irish classical ballet dancer currently completing my BA (Hons) Ballet Performance at The School of Ballet Theatre UK. My training has fostered a strong foundation in classical technique, musicality, and artistic expression, and I am committed to maintaining a high standard of discipline both in the studio and on stage. I approach my work with professionalism, focus, and a genuine passion for continual improvement. As I advance in my studies, I aim to further refine my technical ability, expand my artistry, and contribute meaningfully to the professional ballet environment.

i am currently completing my (Hons) in Ballet Performance at The School of Ballet Theatre UK (2023–2026), where i train extensively in classical ballet technique, contemporary, repertoire, and performance artistry. my foundational development includes time with the Irish National Youth Ballet and the Ballet Boost Associate Programme (2022–2023), both of which helped shape my technical precision and stage confidence. i have further broadened my training through prestigious international intensives, including Ballet Ireland ,the Dirk Badenhorst International Ballet Intensive (2019) and the Val White South African Bursary Awards Programme (2015 & 2017).

engagements include productions with Ballet Theatre UK, notably A Christmas Carol (2025) and Swan Lake (2024), as well as working with Joburg Ballet in Swan Lake at the Joburg Theatre (2025). I Have performed key works such as Balanchine’s Concerto Barocco and the Raymonda, alongside contemporary and lyrical pieces including Euphoria and Control, presented at the Concordia Theatre . Additionally, I Have held multiple soloist roles with the Irish National Youth Ballet, performing in Paquita, Schubert Impromptu, An Chill, and The Nutcracker at The Helix in Dublin . Through these varied engagements, I Have demonstrated technical refinement, stylistic adaptability, and a consistently professional stage presence.
